A Diverse Journey from No Tech to Tech Empowerment

Hello Nordic Women in Tech Awards Judges,

One of the things I truly appreciate about Nordic culture is how we embrace itsearviointi—self-evaluation. It’s not about seeking praise or recognition, but about taking a genuine look at our progress, growth, and the impact we’ve had. For me, this kind of reflection isn’t a one-time practice—it’s something I do regularly to understand where I stand and how I’ve developed. And this time, through that quiet pause, I found myself creating this website—something I’m genuinely proud of.

My name is Adity Malhotra. I’m a mother to a wonderful 12-year-old girl, and I’ve been living in Finland with my family for over 11 years. Before moving to Finland, Socialising is my fuel, and Bollywood dancing is my electric charge

I worked in non-tech sales and marketing and performing. When I arrived FInland in 2013 with 5 months baby, I found myself needing to rebuild everything—my career, my network, and my Finnish language skills.

I embraced the Nordic resilience of turning challenges into opportunities. My journey from a non-tech background to becoming a MarTech Solution Owner at Elisa is a reflection of continuous learning, growth, and the strength of a diverse foundation. I’m honored to share a part of that journey with you.

As I reflect through itsearviointi, I realize that my greatest achievements haven’t come from individual efforts alone, but from the strength of my network—and the support and encouragement of my family, colleagues, and peers.
